How do we show "resilience" in our portfolios?

What experiences do we need to document?  What "threshold events" can capture a change in ourselves?  What can teenagers record or observe or put themselves through to get that stronger inner self?

Those are questions that I have about Palabra and Clarity, sources of training for young women and young men at Frida Kahlo high School under the guidance of principal Enrique Gonzalez.

What can an Online Middle and High School offer to make the academic just a PART of the diploma?  What else can the students be asked to do?  What other trials?

Reading and interpreting the book  JOURNEY TO THE MOUNTAIN WITHIN  is part of that journey ...

What stories should teenagers read (to spark that journey within)?
What discussions can we start?   What can an online teacher ask that will make the online course more vibrant than a face-to-face class?
What procedures can we ask students to put themselves through to build resilience?
