Hi there, homeslices,
Dave here, wishing you a fabulous weekend. A teacher in Florida pointed out that an excellent principal has been working for 20 years to make school interesting and relevant and fun, and that guy has only 10,000 hits on his TEDx Education youtube. Steve, the teacher, says, "Dave, you have 1000 times more impact. Can you look at digital portfolios at High Tech High school in california and make a video telling teenagers about why a free website migth be a good start?"
So I went to www.TinyURL.com/HTHdps and I saw a list of names under digital portfolios, which is a fancy way of saying "here's my website" made by students. Look at this: Abel T. has a website. You can go to it at www.TINY.cc/AbelSite. It's rocking. This fellow has three projects, four web pages and an internship and he looks ready to hire.
So this teacher Steve asks me to show you this page ... and if you want to get free help to make your own page like this, you can get an ebook and see a video. Frankly, his blog and his ebook need help, but the teacher appears to be a nice fellow. He could use longer hair, maybe, but his heart is in the right place. Free info, isn't that worth it?
So if you want his free stps to making a free website, go to www.TinyURL.com/sunportfolios5
projectsWithSteve.blogspot.com is his blog with some free steps
tinyURL.com/projectsandportfolios shows some free ebooks.
See you again soon, Homeslices.

That's what would make a rocking video.... endorsement of "free websites created by teenagers to show their work, dreams and accomplishments."
When advertising to teens, here are the recommendations.
