A Letter to Students (with offensive photos)

Here’s how to get more hits on your website
If you include the following items, we will post a link to your website (you’ll get more hits):
Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 4.08.16 AM.png
The link to “how to create a digital portfolio” will help encourage other students at other schools to copy our school’s initiative.

The link to your website will be turned off by our school if any of the following items are detected
-- hateful images
Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 4.23.09 AM.png-- inappropriate language (hate speech, bullying or anything that might bring a negative reputation to the school)
Go to websites set up by students at High Tech High:  tinyURL.com/HTHdps.  You’ll get the idea.
Examples of inappropriate images are
A silhouette of a man slapping a woman.
A student smoking a cigarette or other items

You remove any image that might impact your future negatively.
Ask:
Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 4.23.36 AM.png“Would I want my grandmother to see this photo?”
“Someday, will I lose a job opportunity because someone saw me in this photo?”
Exercise your freedom of expression on social media accounts that are NOT linked to your website.
