How to build a website for students who want them in 25 minutes or less.
How to maintain that website in five minutes per month.
How to create websites to “show what we know” without paying anyone to make the websites
Some students have time.
Many students don’t want to learn how to make websites.
Some students want to learn how to make free websites.
Most teachers don’t have time for “additional training.”
Many schools don’t have funds to pay for training of the teachers or the students.
Can we create a list of websites
(One-way links to the student websites)
Without training Teachers?
Without paying for the web space?
Can student volunteers help make sites for the students who don’t want to learn how to make a website?
This is the key challenge. Can the costs be kept low by requesting students to volunteer? |
How can we set up all of the student websites on a single GMAIL account and allow each student to edit their personal site? |
Monitoring: If the volunteers notice something that reflects poorly on the school, then the link to the student website is turned off (until the offending item is removed)
Conditions: The administration will have access to the passwords of the link page (the page listing the links to every website)

Would you like to show your best work to colleges?
If you want, I can help you get your school work up on a website. Does any of this sound interesting to you?
Let's get portfolios into schools.
Let's call on student volunteers to lead the way and guide students who don't want to learn how to make websites.
